A new name – World Youth Clubs

We have some exciting news to share that marks a significant milestone for our organization. With the unanimous approval of our Board of Directors, we are amending our name to World Youth Clubs (WYC).

When our organization was established in 2019, we chose the name, “World Federation of Youth Clubs” to underscore our legal structure as a federation.  As a federation, Affiliate Clubs maintain local governance and autonomy while benefitting from our programs and services and the opportunity to network and share best practices with fellow Affiliate Clubs around the world. Please know, this does not change.  

As we continue to grow, evolve, and strive to raise brand awareness, we believe the name World Youth Clubs simplifies our message and places greater emphasis on “youth” and “clubs” – the heart of our mission.

As we roll out our World Youth Clubs branding efforts over the coming months, we will create and share a WYC Affiliate Club logo and other marketing tools designed for use within your local clubs and communities. We hope you will proudly promote your affiliation with WYC, helping bring awareness to your organization’s global engagement and the impact of WYC Affiliate Clubs around the world.  

On behalf of World Youth Club’s Board and professional leadership, we are grateful for the meaningful work you are doing on behalf of those young people who need us most.  We continue to be inspired by your unwavering dedication and we look forward to our future together.
