John Porter
We are sad to report that John Porter of Nottinghamshire Clubs for Young People passed away on 8th February 2023.
Many of you will remember him from his time as Club Leader at Monty Hind Boys Club. He then went on to serve as Assistant County Secretary of Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Association of Boys Clubs and then as Assistant Regional Officer for NABC in the Northeast Region with Keith Darlow, before becoming Midlands Regional Officer.
John was also a lifelong active member of the National Boys Club since his attendance at the 10th Candidates Week in 1954.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all John’s family and friends. We will pass on any funeral arrangements as we receive further information.
